Kerala Blasters FC announced the official squad for the Hero Indian Super League 2022-23 season. The Ivan Vukomanovic-led team is gearing up for the opening match against East Bengal FC on October 7, 2022 at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium, Kochi. Jezel Carneiro is the captain.

"We enter the Hero ISL 2022-23 season with the dream of winning the title," Blasters Sporting Director Karolis Skinkis said. Through contract extensions, the club has paid considerable attention to keeping key players intact in order to stabilize the squad and develop the club's sporting plans. Local and foreign players have also been added to the team who can provide invaluable experience and leadership to the team. Blasters also have a good combination of young and experienced players. By inducting young players, Kerala Blasters have strictly followed the league's mandatory development players criteria. There are 7 Malayali players in the 28-member team. Rahul KP, Sahal Abdul Samad, Srikuttan, Sachin Suresh, Vibin Mohanan, Nihal Sudheesh and Bijoy Varghese. Australian forward, Apostoles Jianu is the only overseas Asian player in the squad.
